Gochiso USA is a brand created by ATO (Agricultural Trade Office) promoting American produce in Japanese People.

Purpose

Gochiso USA create culturally relevant and engaging visual campaigns under USDA - Embassy Tokyo, to promote American agricultural products and food cultures to Japanese audiences

Problem/Challenge

The primary challenge was to develop engaging culturally attuned video content to both educate and inspire Japanese consumers about American produce and food traditions. 

Results

  • Increased engagement with videos, especially among non-native English speakers.

  • Higher retention rates, with viewers watching the video in full compared to previous text-based materials.

  • Positive feedback from government members and affected individuals.
